Scholars, top martial artists and monks explain the principles of the way, a treasure of wisdom that survived thousands of years. The film highlights the interconnectedness between the philosophy and the natural world and how its principles manifest in certain martial arts and meditative arts.

Sehubungan dengan seni berperang, ketika kamu melihat pedang musuh terayun kearahmu, jika kamu berpikir untuk menghindarinya, maka pikiranmu akan terpaku pada pedang dan aksimu membingungkan dan kamu tersayat dengan tidak sengaja. Ini disebut fiksasi atau keterikatan terus menerus.
Jika kamu tidak memikirkan pedang yang mengayun walaupun kamu melihatnya, dan tidak menyimpan suatu pikiran pun, dan menghadapi pedang yang datang dengan segera, secpat kamu melihatnya, tanpa pikiran kamu terpaku pada hal tersebut sama sekali, kamu akan dapat menghindari pedang yang ditujukan untuk membunuhmu, dan mempunyai kesempatan memutar pedang tersebut untuk melumpuhkan musuhmu.
